Cider : 50 centiliters
Yellow Onion : 80 grams
Apple cider vinegar : 1 tablespoon
Unsalted butter : 20 grams
Whipping cream 30% : 10 centiliters
Corn starch : 1 tablespoon
Salt : 1 pinch
Pepper : 1 pinch

Preparation steps

Step 1
In a frying pan, melt the butter and add the minced onion. Fry for a good 5 minutes.
Step 2
When the onion has become translucent, deglaze with the tablespoon of cider vinegar and add the cider.
Step 3
Reduce for 20 minutes at a gentle simmer, then add the cream.
Step 4
Dissolve the tablespoon of cornstarch before adding to the sauce. Mix well and heat for two or three minutes to thicken the sauce.
Adjust the seasoning with a pinch of salt and a turn of the pepper grinder.
