Ingredients
- Macaroni : 350 grams
- Unsalted butter : 40 grams
- Flour : 40 grams
- Milk : 750 milliliters
- Sharp cheddar (Shredded) : 200 grams
- Mozzarella Cheese (Shredded) : 100 grams
- Dijon Mustard : 1 teaspoon
- Nutmeg : 1 pinch
- Salt : 1 pinch
- Pepper : 1 pinch
- Breadcrumbs : 50 grams
- Unsalted butter (Melted) : 20 grams
Preparation steps

Cook the macaroni in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente.
Drain and set aside.In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the flour and whisk for 1 minute to form a roux. -
Gradually whisk in the milk until the sauce is smooth and thick.

Off the heat, stir in the cheddar and mozzarella.

Then add the mustard and nutmeg.
Season with salt and pepper, and mix until everything is melted and smooth. -
Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat well.

Transfer to a lightly buttered baking dish.
Combine the breadcrumbs with the melted butter. Sprinkle over the top of the macaroni.
Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 20 to 25 minutes, until the top is golden and crisp. - Temperature: 200°C
