Red lentil dhal

Ingredients
- Red Lentils : 230 grams
- Coconut milk : 40 centiliters
- Water : 20 centiliters
- Tomato pulp : 380 grams
- Carrots : 3
- Onion : 1
- Fresh ginger : 12 grams
- Cumin en poudre : 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric : 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil : 3 tablespoons
- Salt : 1 pinch
- Pepper : 1 pinch
Preparation steps

Peel and slice carrots.
Peel and slice onion.
Put the olive oil in a stew pot and sauté the carrots and onion for a good five minutes. -
Add cumin and turmeric.
Peel and grate the ginger, then add and mix well. -
Pour in the tomato pulp.

Then the lentils.

Finally, pour in the coconut milk and water and stir.

Simmer gently, covered, for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Before serving, add a few fresh coriander leaves.
