Brown sugar : 40
Cinnamon (Powder) : 1/2

Vanilla Icing

Egg whites : 1
Icing sugar : 180
Vanilla Extract (Liquid) : 1
Food coloring (A few drops) :

Preparation steps

Cookies

Step 1
In a bowl, mix flour, cinnamon and sugar.
Then add the egg and mix in the butter as you would for a shortbread dough.
Step 2
Form a ball, wrap it with plastic wrap and refrigerate for one hour.
Step 3
After one hour of rest, using a rolling pin, roll out the dough and cut out the cookies with cookie cutters.
Place the cookies on a cookie sheet.
Bake for about 10 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.

Then let cool before applying the glaze.

Icing

Step 5
In a bowl, combine the egg and powdered sugar.
Add vanilla flavouring and mix well.

Add food coloring to color the icing.

Using a spoon, spatula, toothpick or even a small cone made from parchment paper, place the icing on the cookies.
