Ingredients
Cookies
- Unsalted butter : 100
- Flour : 150
- Egg : 1
- Brown sugar : 40
- Cinnamon (Powder) : 1/2
Vanilla Icing
- Egg whites : 1
- Icing sugar : 180
- Vanilla Extract (Liquid) : 1
- Food coloring (A few drops) :
Preparation steps

In a bowl, mix flour, cinnamon and sugar.
Then add the egg and mix in the butter as you would for a shortbread dough. -
Form a ball, wrap it with plastic wrap and refrigerate for one hour.

After one hour of rest, using a rolling pin, roll out the dough and cut out the cookies with cookie cutters.
Place the cookies on a cookie sheet.
Bake for about 10 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. - Temperature: 180°C

Then let cool before applying the glaze.
Icing

In a bowl, combine the egg and powdered sugar.
Add vanilla flavouring and mix well. -
Add food coloring to color the icing.

Using a spoon, spatula, toothpick or even a small cone made from parchment paper, place the icing on the cookies.
