Ingredients
- Elstar apples : 1.1 kilograms
- Cane sugar : 80 grams
- Water : 10 centiliters
- Cinnamon (powder) : 1 teaspoon
- Vanilla seeds in powder : 1/4 teaspoon
Preparation steps

Place the peeled and chopped apples in a stewpot.

Add cane sugar and water. Mix well.
Cover and cook over low heat for twenty minutes, stirring occasionally. -
After cooking for twenty minutes, add the cinnamon and vanilla. Mix well.
You are free to blend the compote to obtain a smooth texture, or leave the apple pieces to melt.
