Minced veal : 500 grams
Turmeric (Powder) : 1 pinch
Cumin (Powder) : 1 pinch
Cayenne pepper (Powder) : 1 pinch
Yellow onion : 1
Fine breadcrumbs : 50 grams
Mint leaves : 20
Salt : 1 pinch
Pepper : 1 pinch
Olive oil : 3 pinches

Preparation steps

Boulettes de veau à la menthe

Step 1
Start by peeling and chopping the onion (about 120 grams).
Step 2
Then chop the mint leaves (20 large ones).
Step 3
Place the minced veal, onion, minced mint and spices in a bowl.
Mix well.
Step 4
Form into about 15 balls.
Step 5
Place the breadcrumbs in a shallow dish and roll the dumplings in them.
Step 6
Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan, then add the meatballs.
Brown for a good 5 minutes over high heat, then cook over medium heat for a further 20 minutes.
At the end of cooking, add a pinch of salt and a grind of pepper.
