Ingredients
- Gala apple : 1
- Unsalted butter : 3 teaspoons
- Maple syrup : 3,5 tablespoons
- Cinnamon : 1/4 teaspoon
- Traditional Buckwheat Galettes : 2
Preparation steps
-
Peel and quarter an apple.
-
Cut the quarters into thin strips.
-
Brown the apples in a frying pan over medium heat, covered, in a knob of butter for about 5 minutes.
-
Once the apples have softened and coloured, add a tablespoon and a half of maple syrup and the cinnamon.
Allow the apples to caramelize, stirring occasionally, until they are a lovely golden color. -
Melt a knob of butter in a pancake pan and place a pre-made pancake on top.
Add half the apples to one half, along with a spoonful of maple syrup.
Fold the pancake in half and cook each side for 2 minutes over medium heat until golden brown.
Repeat with the second patty.
Taste and enjoy.
