Tip
For an even richer flavor, you can add a few drops of fresh lemon juice to the skewers just before serving. This will bring a slight acidity that perfectly balances the sweet and salty flavors of the marinade.
If you’re using wooden skewers, be sure to soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent them from burning during cooking.

Ingredients
Marinated beef
- Beef (Cubed) : 800 grams
- Soy sauce : 5 tablespoons
- Balsamic vinegar : 3 tablespoons
- Olive oil : 3 tablespoons
- Honey : 3 tablespoons
- Garlic Cloves (Minced) : 3
- Fresh ginger (Minced) : 1.5 teaspoon
- Mustard : 1.5 teaspoon
- Pepper : 1.5 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley (Chopped) : 1.5 tablespoon
- Espelette pepper : 1.5 teaspoon
Skewers
- Yellow Bell Pepper : 1
- Red bell pepper : 1
- Red onion : 1

Preparation steps
Marinade
-
Mince the garlic, parsley, and ginger.
In a large bowl or a resealable plastic bag, mix all the marinade ingredients until well combined. -
Add the beef cubes to the marinade and mix well to coat them evenly.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or seal the bag, and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, ideally overnight for a more intense flavor.
Prepare the Vegetables
-
While the meat is marinating, prepare the vegetables by cutting them into pieces similar in size to the beef cubes.
Assembly and Cooking
-
Remove the marinated beef from the refrigerator. Thread the beef, bell peppers, onion, and mushrooms onto skewers, alternating the ingredients.
-
Preheat the BBQ to around 205°C (400°F). Grill the skewers for approximately 8 to 10 minutes, turning them regularly for even cooking.
For rare doneness, grill for 2-3 minutes on each side; for medium, grill for 4-5 minutes on each side. Brush the skewers with the remaining marinade during cooking for extra flavor. - Temperature: 205°C
