Ingredients
- Pan-fired gnocchis : 500 grams
- Bacon : 230 grams
- Onion : 1
- Yellow Bell Pepper : 1
- Garlic Cloves : 2
- Cumin Powder : 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric : 1/2 teaspoon
- Cilantro (Powder) : 1/2 teaspoon
- Oregano : 1 teaspoon
- Olive oil : 1 tablespoon
- Salt : 1 pinch
- Pepper : 1 pinch
- Whipping cream 30% : 250 milliliters
- Parmesan cheese : To Taste

Preparation steps
-
In a large non-stick skillet, add the bacon lardons and cook until crispy (5 to 10 minutes).
-
Add the chopped onion and cook until it becomes translucent and slightly golden, about 5 minutes.
-
Dice the bell pepper, mince the garlic, and add them to the skillet.
Cook for about 3 to 5 minutes, until the peppers are tender. -
Add the cumin, turmeric, ground coriander, and oregano. Sauté the spices for 1 minute to release their aromas and coat the vegetables well.
-
Pour the heavy cream into the skillet and stir well.
Let it simmer gently for 3 to 4 minutes so the sauce thickens slightly.
Season with salt and pepper. -
In another skillet, heat a little olive oil over medium-high heat.
Add the gnocchi and cook until they are golden and crispy on the outside, about 5 to 7 minutes. -
Finally, add the pan-fried gnocchi to the creamy spiced sauce and stir well to coat everything.
Serve immediately, with grated Parmesan and a bit of fresh parsley for garnish, if desired.
