Sausage Meat : 500 grams
Onions : 110 grams
Thyme (Sprigs) : 3
Olive oil (Drizzle) : 1
Salt : 1 pinch
Pepper : 1 pinch

Preparation steps

Step 1
Rinse and cut the tomatoes at the top.
Scoop out the insides and reserve the pulp.
Step 2
In a skillet, heat a drizzle of olive oil and sauté the onion for five minutes, adding the thyme sprigs.
Step 3
Add the tomato pulp, avoiding the liquid, and cook for another five minutes.
Remove the thyme sprigs.
Step 4
In a bowl, place the sausage meat. Season with a pinch of salt and a twist of the pepper mill.
Add the sautéed onion and mix well.
Step 5
Generously stuff each tomato.
Step 6
Replace the tops and bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 40 minutes.
