For the chicken and sauce
- Chicken fillets : 500 grams
- Garlic Cloves : 3
- Fresh ginger (Grated) : 1 tablespoons
- Soy sauce : 4 tablespoons
- Honey : 2 tablespoons
- Rice vinegar : 1 tablespoons
- Hoisin Sauce : 2 tablespoons
- Sesame seeds : 1 teaspoon
- Chicken broth : 200 milliliters
- Corn starch : 1 tablespoons
- Neutral oil : 2 tablespoons
For the sautéed vegetables
- Red bell pepper : 1
- Broccoli florets : 1
- Onion : 1
- Soy sauce : 2 tablespoons
- Neutral oil : 1 tablespoon
- Jasmine Rice : 300 grams
Preparation steps
Prepare the rice, sauce, and chicken

Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook according to the package instructions and keep warm.
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and water or broth.
Set aside. -
Heat vegetable oil in a wok over medium heat.
Cut the chicken into small cubes and add them to the wok. Sear for 5-6 minutes, until golden brown. -
Add minced garlic and grated ginger, then sauté for 1 minute.
Pour the sauce mixture into the wok and bring it to a boil.
Reduce the heat and let simmer for 5 minutes.
Stir in the diluted cornstarch to thicken the sauce, stirring until it coats the chicken.
Set aside.
Prepare the sautéed vegetables

Heat oil in a wok or pan over high heat.
Add the onions and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
Add the broccoli florets and bell pepper, cooking for 5-6 minutes until slightly crunchy.
Drizzle with soy sauce and toss to coat the vegetables evenly.
Assemble and serve

Place the warm rice on plates.
Add the saucy chicken next to or on top of the rice.
Serve the sautéed vegetables on the side to complete the dish.
